Cedar Shutter Installation in Clover, SC

For this project, we had a customer out of Clover, SC needing some help dredging up his curb appeal. He had purchased some beautiful cedar shutters online but needed help removing the old ones and installing the new shutters.

First step was to remove the old plastic shutters that came with the house. Once removed, we took the cedar shutters off site to be stained with two coats of Cabot Semi Transparent Stain (Black). After the second coat, we let the shutters cure for a few days so that they would be ready to install. We trimmed of a few inches from the top shutters because the windows were shorter. We used brick anchors and screws to fasten the shutters to the brick. The before and after for this project speaks for itself.

We were able to make this house look more upscale simply by going from plastic to that beautifully grained cedar.
